V-Band Clamps

The reason: In contrast to screwed flange connections, our V-band clamps can be installed and removed quickly in exhaust systems: only one screw needs to be tightened for a secure flange connection, saving time and money with every installation. 

In addition to simple handling and the short assembly time, every NORMA stainless steel band clamp embraces a low-weight, compact design: regardless of the pipe diameter, it requires only minimal space in the engine compartment. Our V-band clamps are not only compact and effective, but also reliable and durable: all NORMA connections are perfectly adapted to the flange and tested against OEM specifications for tightness and durability.  

Our original equipment manufacturer OE quality makes the difference in terms of tightness, temperature resistance and service life. 

Which V-band clamps are there?

Our V-band products can be divided into two groups: 

VPP profile clamps are the standard for multi-charged gasoline engines (e.g., turbo) in large numbers and withstand extreme exhaust gas temperatures of up to 1,050 ° C. 

QRC V-band clamps are ideal for applications in which the exhaust gas temperature range is up to 650 ° C - for example, in diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles. 

To cover all our customers' needs, we offer solutions for a broad range of flange diameters, from the 63.5 mm V-band clamp, through the 70 mm V-band clamp to the 89 mm V-band clamp.

Why replace V-band clamps?

Due to thermodynamic processes during vehicle operation, clamps must adapt to the flange of the manifold, turbocharger, or exhaust pipe. When these components are exchanged, vehicle manufacturers recommend changing the V-band clamp as well to ensure optimal tightness and accuracy of fit.
